Get to know more about me
Donna graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (also known as Laboratory Science) and has been working as a laboratory scientist for 16 years now. [If that drew a blank, you can click here and know more about what Laboratory Scientists do.]
She is a farmer/rancher’s wife and a mother to 2 spunky little goobers who tries her best to take long naps but to no avail. The busy little people just keep her on her toes!
My little girl
The little tribe
My little boy
Mommy and baby girl
Just like any other working moms, Donna dreams to stay home with her beautiful kids and do something from home. She dreams to make it big as a full-time writer and business owner.
(She sells her own brand of baby bandana bibs. However, they are getting a major face-lift as we speak, so bear with her please. You can still check out her Facebook page here.)
Working as a laboratory scientist for the community hospital, her time is not her own. She works over 40 regular hours a week plus calls in the night and on weekends. Come to think of it! That is majority of her time!
The Birth of The Upward Blip
So, one dry South Dakota mid-summer, she thought starting a mom blog would be a remarkable idea. She reckoned she was gifted with the ability to turn thoughts into one cohesive sophisticated story (or so she thought!), so why not do it and write to her heart’s content.
As a result of that, The Upward Blip was born. Your personal inspirations resource that tackles all the important points you can encounter in your whole motherhood experience, from preparing for baby’s arrival to parenting and home organization, so happiness and positivity can foster.
